Link Love: Blogger Edition

Gaytitude warning: I'm nearing 1000 posts here and starting to get squishy. Consider yourselves forewarned.
Via friend of both Jr Deputy Accountant and Roger CPA Review, The Cooking Accountant gave us a glowing endorsement over at her blog (thank you!) so we had to follow the rules and share (btw she can also be found on Twitter - I'm trying to tell you people, the accountants are everywhere. We're taking over, like it or not. She is also almost done with the CPA exam so don't @ her too much right now or else ^#$#@^):
About the award: "Apparently this award is bestowed on to blogs that are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."
We also really don't follow the rules all that well (we try) so we picked five (in honor of our favorite Fed bank's district) blogs that we absolutely adore:
Skeptical CPA:
He wouldn't really appreciate me making a big public deal out of all that he's done for me so let's just say here that without Skeptical CPA's constant encouragement and wisdom, you likely wouldn't see a single F-word out of me. From the very beginning he has shoved me along and instilled me with the kind of insight that no $50,000 in student loan debt could have ever offered me. I'm eternally grateful to him for that. Plus he wants to Kill the Fed and never puts up with my shit (bonus!). Thanks, Pop. :) (and no, he's not on Twitter, won't give you a backlink, and doesn't give a shit about adding you on Facebook. That's what makes him cooler than you)
Mortgaged Future:
Bill Zielinski over at MF is one of the coolest MFers ever (no offense, Bill, that's a compliment I swear). When California announced it would be issuing IOUs, he even checked in with me to make sure I was okay over here in San Francisco. He was one of my earliest cheerleaders and always makes sense of some of the most bizarre shit you will ever see in your life. Plus he's on team accounting. If you aren't reading him, you're lost.
Exuberant Accountant:
From the beginning, we knew there was something special about Exuberant Accountant when we found him on Michelle Golden's illustrious list of accounting blogs (yes, she was even kind enough to put our company there). It is so exciting to see the accounting industry evolve to adopt new media (is that cliche yet?) and to see a partner of an accounting firm with a well-rounded and enlightening blog is such a bonus for the industry as a whole. Scott is also way too nice to us and as Financial Armageddon's Michael Panzner told us long ago when Jr Deputy Accountant was still a baby project "flattery will get you everywhere." (And perhaps we convinced him to hop on Twitter? We can only hope.) Scott also insisted that we take a vacation (but still emailed us once from Hawaii *ahem*) and we are eternally grateful to him for making the suggestion. And promise to do that more often.
Les LaFave:
Les is a special kind of connection to me, since I believe we somehow met through StumbleUpon (yes, Bill Sheridan at the Maryland Association of CPAs' CPA Success, StumbleUpon does sometimes work!), most likely we thumbs-upped the same anti-Federal Reserve article (his avatar says it all). We should take this opportunity to thank our colleague for A) convincing us to start this blog and B) turning us on to StumbleUpon in the first place (maybe the ad campaign didn't work out but the tool certainly did and we appreciate him for that particular heads up). The great part about Les is that he's an amazing writer out of Atlanta who understands the particulars of monetary policy. We've tried to convince him to step up his new media campaign and he's getting there but he should really be bigger by now. Smart people need to stick together, and from the beginning it was apparent to us that this person got it. Don't miss his insights.
Mike Morgan
Let's face it, GoldmanSachs666 is a pretty huge fucking deal. (ht to cl5v5r for sending me the article on Mike's lawsuit in the first place, without which I may have never found him and joined up with his honorable project) Mike trusted me from the beginning to carry the flag and the man is a gangster. Not only did he survive a Goldman lawsuit, he came back from a quadruple bypass. Next on the list? JP Morgan. What did you think, he was just going to go softly into that dark night? Pfft. I am honored to have gone from covering Mike's story to being a member of his team in the war against these cocksuckers and am so looking forward to what else we come up with. As far as I know, he doesn't give a shit about Twitter.
Point being, this blog would be pointless without the support of a lot of people (and thank you to Cooking Accountant for reminding us of that). There are countless readers, friends, cheerleaders, stalkers, and fans (not to mention my company, colleagues, and bosses, without whom none of this would really be possible since a girl has to eat) who I count on to keep me going - without some of these people and the inspiration that they provide, there's no way I'd be able to balance work and this site and the constant stream of bullshit day in and day out. Any one of the sites listed to your right are incredibly useful, valuable, and important to me. I wouldn't waste precious Page Rank on their links if they weren't. I suggest dear reader use them, or sit there wondering what the fuck smacked you on your ass months or years from now when the wheels fall off of this farce.
Blogger doesn't have enough room for me to list those who contribute to this effort. It is the students of our CPA Review course, the accounting bloggers, the Twitterati, the readers, the anonymous commentators, the cheerleaders, and the e-mailers who make this possible.
So the award really goes out to all of you. Some of you know just how much you mean but to the rest of you, I appreciate you as well.
This is war. So slap on your paint and let's go.

<3 or $ is the choice? $ causes enough trouble and there's never enough <3, so let's go with that and give you back some of the <3 and thanks you've shared here.
cl5v5r,
You're incredibly thoughtful as always.
Is there a choice? I think you're right, choosing $ over <3 will always lead to disaster. I don't know if one has to choose (I know at least *I* don't - thank goodness for that) but I would like the record to reflect that if I *did* have to choose, I'd take <3 every time too.
The cool part is that there is no <3 printer to conjure up endless amounts of it, you've actually got to work for it for it to be valuable. The even COOLER part is that sometimes it's not even like work, it just works itself out and magically appears in your lap. Funny how that works, eh?

Blushing too much to type for long-thanks for your encouragement, and for your work on the Fed reform message- Les
Hiya Jr, wow am I ever late to this party! I must have had my head in the sand to miss your kind mention in this fantastic post! TY, TY, TY.
You continue to rock and I love your non-conventional take on a previously conventional profession. You are helping to change that, you know!
