Bernie Madoff Breaks His Prison Fight Cherry
WaPo's Economy Watch:
Bernie Madoff, serving 150 years in a North Carolina federal prison for running a multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme, got the better end of his first prison fight, the New York Post reports.
Before you get ahead of yourself, this wasn't like an episode of "Oz," with homemade shivs and blood everywhere.
No, it sounds more like an episode of "Golden Girls Gone Bad." The Post is reporting that Madoff and another senior-citizen prisoner got into a ball-yard dust-up over, of all things, the stock market.
Yelling escalated to the other prisoner shoving Madoff, who shoved back hard enough to knock the other old guy down, fellow prisoners who saw the fight said.
Well good, hopefully a little prison anal did the trick on the salty old Ponzi prick and he'll learn next time to carry a shank in his copy of The Age of Turbulence.
