Muni has always been a trashpit but this is getting just a little bit frightening. I'm sure The Commuting Capitalist wasn't made for posting "please help someone's been stabbed on my bus" distress calls to the fucking Internet.

A woman is being treated for stab wounds after a seemingly random attack on a San Francisco light rail car, and police say the suspect's description is similar to a man who stabbed a young boy on a city bus in September.

Investigators say 24-year-old woman was stabbed on the city's J-Church Metro line Monday morning near Market Street. She is being treated for wounds not considered life threatening.

The description of the suspect is similar to the one given in September of a man who stabbed 11-year-old Hatim Mansori on a bus. The boy has since recovered from his wounds.

This is wrong on many levels but mostly wrong since Muni is going up yet again after January 1st, 2010 just after an increase this past July.
