You Can Blame Obamacare

toothpaste for dinner might blame Obamacare too

I'm burnt out. There's nothing good to write about. I've been retired from CPA Review for a week and two days and already I don't know what to do all day. I can't get through the news for three minutes without seeing a fucking Obamacare story. Stop. You're making my job hell and if this isn't fun, I'll go back to my 9 - 5 (8 - 8 !) and go back to slaving away for the man and hating life. SEE WHAT YOU DID?!

And stop with Ernst & Young while you're at it. Bad, bad Lehman, yes we know. Let the DoJ grow a pair and handle that, there are other frauds to attack, ones happening right now on your exchanges - that the SEC is aware of and can probably do little about - that deserve your attention.

Health care isn't over but it's fucking tiring so stop already. LOLFed feels me on this one.

But seriously, if I see one more stupid fucking Lehman story written by a foaming-at-the-mouth reporter tripping through the accounting, I'm going to kick someone. Let's hope (for my sake) it isn't a mean Asian grandma on the Muni.

That's it. Return to your... whatever you were doing.

Jr Deputy Accountant

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.

You could just shut the fuck up. In the whole week I've been following your blog all you have been doing is spreading disinformation.

Shutting the fuck up would be a net positive.

Ted,

You sound angry. Are you angry?

I'm hoping the harsh language will help you reach an epiphany, a moment of catharsis, a sudden insight, a eureka instant...

@ Ted (aka Rahm Emanuel) - an example of "spreading disinformation" would be helpful rather than just blurting things out.

And, I don't really go for all that "founding fathers are crying" bullshit about the expansion of the Federal government - Hamilton LOVED the notion of a big, powerful Federal government. I think that if they did start crying it would be crying over the fact that we've become a nation of pansies, piggy backers, and outright, un-apologetic parasites that are unwilling to take personal responsibility for personal actions taken. Obama said he was going to pass this (or some form of it) when he was running. Look up the speeches. People went for it and he won. Now we get to see if we're going to experience a "careful what you wish for 'cause you might get it moment". I don't work in insurance or healthcare but I do know a few things about human nature. I think this shit is going to wear thin quickly for a large number of people including some "yes we can" folk.

Jeff - grrrrrrr (hahaha)

Going home from work yesterday I came to the usual intersection of Hampton and Gravois and I had a "moment" at the red light. On one corner sits a Wal-Greens. On the other corner, a Schnucks Grocery and pharmacy (local outfit), on the opposite corner sits an CVS that was just recently built. And on the fourth corner? Any guess.... A Steak and Shake. Now, don't get me wrong - Smug Bastard likes his hamburger, fries, and shake as much as the next St. Louis mofo but I do make it a habit to control the intake (gotta keep my girlish figure).
