Told You It Was a Thankless Job

And may have also mentioned the fact that our government thinks you are too stupid to figure any of this out.

The Web site released a graphic video on Monday showing an American helicopter shooting and killing a Reuters photographer and driver in a July 2007 attack in Baghdad.

A senior American military official confirmed that the video was authentic.

Reuters had long pressed for the release of the video, which consists of 38 minutes of black-and-white aerial video and conversations between pilots in two Apache helicopters as they open fire on people on a street in Baghdad. The attack killed 12, among them the Reuters photographer, Namir Noor-Eldeen, 22, and the driver, Saeed Chmagh, 40.

It's graphic, sort of SFW depending on where you work and certainly makes you wonder.

Jr Deputy Accountant

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.

Five S's each one takes specific attention training to avoid mistakes. How many did I make? You?

This is really a terribly sad situation. The sword of the US military is a blunt long and heavy instrument and was never designed for this type of warfare (Iraq and Afghanistan). We need to bring the boys and girls home and stop the loss of blood and treasure. This is a demented example of: when you're holding a hammer every problem looks like a nail.

We have a well-meaning military force being led by politicians, with chickenshit senior (political) officers who have no business holding their rank. These senior officers care more about their promotion and pension than the welfare of their troops let alone the army values of what is right. This is a problem of leadership from the President on down to the O-6s (colonels), of this president and the last. They all have blood on their hands. But the enlisted man will pay the price.

Our leadership sucks.

Yes and the Wikileaks video was edited to 17 minutes from 28?

War is a nasty business.

BTW you left out that they found weapons on some of the bodies, and "Nadi" was notorious for embedding with insurgents. One of the weapons found was an RPG.

Reuters was known for hiring insurgents and calling them stringers -it's dangerous to leave the safe zones yourself.

Because war is dangerous.

Would you judge two lives - of your fellow Americans - based on "Wiki" anything?

Please post the link to verify weapons were found at the scene of the attack.

What I don't understand is why they killed the unarmed men - going so far as chasing them behind the wall, when they weren't carrying guns.
