The WSJ Asks a Trick Question: Can the Federal Reserve Fix the Economy?

Guess what? The Fed was never meant to fix the economy. If it were, it would do the honorable thing, pull out the samurai sword and die with honor as it will never be able to satisfy its mission of saving the economy if it is simultaneously killing it.

In the words of the one and only Mogambo Guru: "hahahahahaha!" As if.

So? Why don't you go ahead and tell the Journal how you feel by answering their question Can the Federal Reserve fix the country's economic problems?
