Happy (Early) Birthday, Ben Bernanke!
It's that time of year again, JDA turns another year older as does Ben Bernanke on December 13th. In honor of our shared birthday, I've continued the tradition of sending our fearless Federal Reserve chairman a lovely birthday card.
It reads "Those BIG numbers hurt my head!":
Sure hope it gets there, it's hard to send something to a place that doesn't have an official address (gee, wonder who came up with that brilliant scheme?).
(the American flag stamp is a nice ironic touch, don't you think? You know, gives it that real "legitimately" federal flair.)
Happy Birthday, ZB! I'll be eating enough cake for both of us.

Awww your nice sending old Ben a card, it will most likely never make it past his staff but it's the thought that counts.....
More important thought, happy early Birthday to you...

Bernanke has been tasked by the FOMC with communicating Fed policy to a wider audience. I think the staff will pass the card on to Ben.
Don't expect a card in return. He may not have your new address. Happy birthday JDA.
His address--Washington DC 20551--is probably more official and accessible than yours.
JDA, that's just beautiful.
Srsly.
Bet your card will soon be worth more than the money spent on it. You can thank the Fed for than.
Happy Birthday Jr Deputy Accountant Adrienne Gonzalez!
I often drive past the Federal Reserve during the week. I couldn't help noticing the guard/police officer right by the sidewalk. He must be part of their early warning system against protesters, flung poo, etc.
