Rick Perry Would Still Kick Bernanke's Ass

That's a comforting thought:

Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry on Tuesday didn’t run from comments he made in Iowa on Monday about Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, despite criticism from across the political spectrum.

“Look, I’m just passionate about the issue,” the Texas governor told the New York Times on Tuesday, “and we stand by what we said.”

Remember when Bernanke was banned from going to China? My how things change.

I'm surprised we don't treat him ugly here in DC, personally.

Jr Deputy Accountant

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.

Rick Perry is a Tea Party carnival barker.

cjn,

Wrong. He's a carnival barker, but not Tea Party.

Tea Partiers hate Rick Perry.

I'm interested in knowing what the crowd reaction was to Perry's statement.

"the Fed is independent of politics"..... pffffftttt. anyone who believes that, please step this way as I have some fabulous development property in amazing South Florida and lovely Arizona that you may be interested in buying...

Bullard broke ranks.

Bullard, Lacker, Hoenig and the three who dissented makes it a real smackdown at 20th & Constitution. Wonder if JDA owes anyone for pimpslapping Yellen.

And this Perry, with the folksy twang and the not thinking before speaking, he reminds me of someone. Who the fuck could that be.

Never could imagine Bernanke in a Stetson.

JDA hope DC has Outback, because Fed meetings at Lonestar Steakhouse cancelled.

"not thinking before speaking"

Yeah, it would appear he's got that trait as well. A lot of people in / from Texas do and people generally say stupid shit all the time before thinking about what it is they are saying.

I'm wondering if he also has the nasty little habit of "not thinking before acting"? as well. Time will tell.
