Ever since he was a boy, The Lazy Paperboy has been consumed with what's going on around him. He used to lie awake with a transistor radio hanging from his bedpost, rolling the AM dial to see if there was something better to listen to as he drifted off.

Same thing now. Years of obsession with the news — from waking up too early to carry a bag as a real paperboy to banging out stories as a reporter to still walking to the end of the driveway for an actual picking up his iPad to read a newspaper every day — seem to have led him to Jr Deputy Accountant.

When the newspaper landed in the bushes, customers complained. Sometimes, readers wrote letters to the editor. TLP tried to see it all as helpful. Same thing now.
